“Hands Lanka Exhibition 2008” is scheduled to be held in Colombo from 9th to 12th October and will bring together the work of craftsmen and artisans from all parts of the island to the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre in Colombo.Lankan handicrafts are mostly the work of self-employed or small scale entrepreneurs keeping the tradition of a family heritage alive. This exhibition will be an opportunity for experts in handicrafts to meet with each other, as well as an opening for exploring marketing prospects.
