Hikkaduwa’s long stretch of beach will light up in colour and glamour when ‘Hikkaduwa Beach Fest 2008’ gets underway from July 30th to August 3rd.An event to entertain both foreign and local tourists and reposition Hikkaduwa from a sun, sand and leisure location to one with a variety of exciting happenings “ Hikkaduwa Beach Fest 2008” is set to, out do, last years event with a longer line up, to delight the whole family. Music, dancing fireworks and the multitude of other fun events on offer is planned for the hip hop young but not forgetting the kiddies and the grannies. From sunset to sundown and through in to the night, east will meet west at its best in Hikkaduwa.
