Award winning Sri Lankan entrepreneur, Thusitha Ranasinghe, produces and markets a unique product – paper: made out of recycled elephant dung.Maximus - a project based in proximity to the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela; recycles the elephant dung, to make completely eco friendly products out of paper and other recycled waste. Maximus was the recipient of the World Challenge in 2006 a contest conducted jointly by BBC Newsweek and Shell.
