Ministry of Tourism in a bid to showcase Sri Lanka’s many places of interest to the traveller with an inclination for the spiritual, recently launched, the “Buddhist Pilgrim Travel Trail”.A previously unexplored market, initially it is intended to develop links between Sri Lanka and India and expand to other countries in the SAARC, South East Asia and the East Asia regions.
