The prestigious International Restaurant and Hotel Awards USA, where submissions from 50 countries were presented, with top chains and hotel groups including The Ritz Carlton, Marriot International, Accor Hotels, Hilton Hotels among others competing, Sri Lanka’s Hotel Sigiriya of Serendib Leisure Group was named 1st in the Green Award category, when the sub category awards were announced on June 5th 2008.Congratulations! Team Hotel Sigiriya, for an award which has highlighted the Hotel’s commitment to the environment and conservation, and bringing credit to destination Sri Lanka.
