First the French Tour Operators Association (CETO) and then The Netherlands, and now Germany and UK authorities have revised travel advisories to Sri Lanka. The earlier ‘advice against travelling to Sri Lanka if not essential’ has been deleted from the text of the German travel advisory.The British travel advisory too has been reviewed and reissued with an amendment where it now states ‘we no longer advice against travel to the city of Anuradhupura’ paving way for tour operators to canvass and accept bookings for the upcoming winter season.
