One of the world’s newest leading literary festivals - the Galle Literary Festival will be on from the 16th to 20th January 2008 in the historic coastal town of Galle in the south of Sri Lanka. The town’s magnificent UN World heritage Fort will transform in to a hive of literary activity, as it did last year, when lovers of literature gather to listen to famous authors the likes of Vikram seth, novelist essayist and play write, Gore Vidal, just two in a list of distinguished writers gracing the festival.
