One of Colombo’s 5 star hotels went beyond their theme of “Indulgence” to one of “Spread A Little Sunshine” when a 400 strong, Team Cinnamon Grand and Associates walked a 16 kilo metre stretch, to promote cancer awareness and to raise funds for much needed equipment for the state cancer hospital in Maharagama.General Manager Rohann Karr and the team in a bid to raise Rs.1.8 million, towards the equipment walked the distance of 16 kilo metres from the Hotel to the Hospital carrying the message to onlookers that caring is rewarding.
